Our Services

Vest Advisory specialises in succession and inheritance planning specifically for individuals, families and businesses seeking a personalised and holistic service.

The unique, and often complex circumstances of successful families and businesses require an experienced and multi-disciplinary approach, which Vest Advisory’s partners provide.

We work closely with our clients to ensure commercial and personal objectives are fulfilled – not just in the planning, but in the execution, including taking appointments as Executor and/or Trustee of Estates.

Vest Advisory services are grouped into three broad phases

Phase 1 • Review

Phase 2 • Monitor

Phase 3 • Maintain

Given the nature of the issues, each situation is approached uniquely and tailored to your circumstances.  You may need to engage us for part of a phase, one or two of the phases, or all three. Whatever stage you are, Vest Advisory can provide you with the services and assistance you need.

  • Phase 1 • Review

We review our client’s existing succession and inheritance arrangements, and work with their current advisers to implement any amendments. If clients need to engage new advisers – for example, lawyers, wealth managers, accountants, or tax advisers – we can assist the client to make those appointments.

For clients with an existing problem at the time of our engagement – including those involved in a dispute or potential dispute – our initial focus will be on addressing that immediate issue.

Once that has been completed, we will undertake the balance of any other Phase 1 activities.

  • Phase 2 • Monitor

We meet with the client on an ongoing basis, normally either 6 or 12 monthly, to ensure their existing arrangements remain fit-for-purpose based on the client’s circumstances, as well as assessing any legal or regulatory changes.

During this phase we can also take appointments on Family Boards or other roles that the client may find helpful. These may be long term, ongoing appointments or project-based, depending on individual circumstances and client preferences.

  • Phase 3 • Maintain

This phase involves assisting the family and other stakeholders to implement their succession and inheritance plans developed during Phase 1 and monitored during Phase 2.

During this phase, Vest Advisory partners can act as executors, trustees, protectors or other roles as needed.
